Child's Play Fundraising Kick Off!

Hello everyone!  Our annual charity drive for Child's Play begins today.  We will have a different outfit up every week with all proceeds from sales going to benefit Child's Play, an organization which helps put toys into Children's Hospitals to make the kids stay a little brighter!  This will be our 2nd year and we have lots of fun things planned!  Check later tonight for a peek at our first outft and the date of our Christmas Ball!

2011 Costume Photo Contest!

Welcome to the thrid annual Rag Dollz Photo Contest!

This year is a Spook-tacular Costume Photo Contest!  Put together your best costume using only Rag Dollz clothing then make an awesome picture!  You can use Photoshop, PaintShop Pro, anything you like to make the best photo ever!  The entries will be judged on theme, creativity and photo quality.
Submissions will begin September 15th and you will have until October 14th to turn in your photograph.

***Rules***

1. Only one photograph per Person. I would prefer if you only use one of your avatars, no alts.  I know this is hard to check, so I am going on trust here.

2. You must be wearing only Rag Dollz Clothing. It can be a single outfit or mix 'n match. What we are looking for is awesome photos! If you send in a photo with other clothing you will be disqualified automatically.  This was actually an issue with the past contests, we got a few really good photos but they had mixed in other clothing brands.

3. You can use any hair, shoes or accessories you like.

4. You can photoshop your photo, have your friend take it, as long as it is you in Rag Dollz clothing you can enter it! We want to see your creativity!

5. Contest is not open to Rag Dollz Employees - Hosts, Models, etc.

6. You need to send in 2 copies of your photo. Size of submitted photos needs to be 1024 x 1024 AND 512 x 512. These are the sizes we need for the blog and such.

7. Photo submission begins September 15th and is open until October 14th.  All photos will be judged by a special panel of judges and the top 10 posted in the shop for everyone to see.  We will be doing a group vote on those 10 for the popular vote but the prize winners will be judged by our panel of judges.

***PRIZES!***

Once the final 10 are chosen, the Rag Dollz Update Group members will be allowed to vote for their favorites!  The top 3 winners in this vote will receive a trophy.

Our panel of judges will choose the top 3 Prize winners from the 10 and the prizes are as follows:

1st place winner -  1000L$ + a 1000L$ Gift Card + Winning Photo displayed for a year in our Costume Section.
2nd place winner -   500L$ + a  500L$ Gift Card
3rd place winner -   250L$ + a  250L$ Gift Card

The 7 runners up will all receive 100L$ and a 149L$ Gift Card.

Contest winners will be announced at our annual Halloween Party on October 31st.

New on the boards!

Two new outfits this week!

On our public board is Apple Blossom Dollie in Pink.  This lovely doll outfit has a rotating key that emits apple particles!  Available in green also.

On our group board is the delicious  Russet Decadence, a Victorian elaborate gown.  The red version, Scarlet Decadence is available as well.
